Expedição Travessia Pantaneira

Caro amigo, o projeto Expedição Travessia Pantaneira iniciará uma travessia sócio ambiental e cultural pelo Pantanal de MT e MS.

A expedição Travessia Pantaneira, durante 45 dias, percorrera as regiões Pantaneiras de Poconé, Barão, Cáceres, Mimoso e Porto Cercado (MT), Nabileque, Miranda e Nhecolândia ( MS) fazendo um levamento sócio ambiental mostrando as potencialidades das regiões do Pantanal norte e sul para a prática de ecoturismo propondo a partir daí uma integração de todas as sub-regiões pantaneiras para o estabelecimento de rotas turísticas com potencial de vendagem, além do levamento de empreendimentos ecoturísticos bem sucedidos em território pantaneiro.

Esta nossa primeira viagem visa colher informações, imagens e principalmente estabelecer vínculos com a população local destas regiões, servirá de base para a continuidade do Projeto, em que estão previstas mais duas etapas de campo e diversos produtos finais,como a produção de um livro,exposições fotográficas e a elaboração de diversos relatórios.

O trajeto da viagem será de aproximadamente 2 mil quilômetros.

Estamos em parceria com a BRAZIL SAFARIS, que nos dá suporte administrativo e assessoria técnica a respeito da fauna e flora das regiões citadas.

Nesta primeira etapa, de campo, precisamos de apoio de uma concessionária automotiva nos fornecendo dois veículos 4x4, sendo que um retorna a empresa e outro fica com a equipe da expedição caso a companhia aceite esta proposta. Também necessitaremos de apoio financeiro para a viagem de carro, hospedagem, reserva técnica para a manutenção dos veículos, combustível e ajuda em equipamentos.

Buscamos mais parceiros institucionais e empresariais para que nos apóiem na realização deste projeto cuja execução deve levar no mínimo um ano.

Iniciaremos a primeira etapa de campo em 19 de Outubro de 2011 quando sairemos de Cuiabá em veículo 4x4 e seguiremos até a cidade de Barão de Melgaço onde encontraremos nosso parceiro local.

Os veículos estarão adesivados com as logomarcas de nossos apoiadores e parceiros que aprovarão previamente a arte dos adesivos elaborados por nossa equipe.

A divulgação do andamento da viagem e seus resultados, assim como a divulgação dos parceiros e apoiadores serão feitas, tanto através de comunicados à imprensa quanto pela internet, onde manteremos ativos e constantemente atualizados perfis nas principais redes sociais como Facebook, Orkut, Twitter e blog. Proposta de Parceria e Aliança Estratégica

Através deste resumido comunicado gostaríamos de informar que dentro de um processo de dinamização e replanejamento dos nossos negócios o Aynore Adventure Expeditions blog especializado em expedições de aventura (www.aynoreexpeditions.blogspot.com) e a BRAZIL SAFARIS(www.brazilsafaris.com) a partir deste ano e com o objetivo de expandir o nosso campo de ação iremos realizar diversas atividades em terras brasileiras e além fronteiras, iniciadas com a Expedição Travessia Pantaneira: travessia fotográfica, sócio ambiental, ecoturística, ornitológica, esportiva e cultural, abrangerá as regiões norte e sul do Pantanal.

Nossa Visão

Acreditamos de que o ecoturismo, o uso de práticas sustentáveis e a cultura são pontos chaves à inserção das populações locais destas regiões no mercado da indústria turística, aliando modernidade mas também a preservação de suas tradições culturais ultrapassa as fronteiras geográficas e com a vinda da Copa do Mundo de 2014 e os Jogos Olímpicos gostaríamos de estar participando deste processo com muita determinação, consolidando a imagem de nosso país no cenário internacional.

Nosso Objetivo

Percorrer durante 45 dias, as regiões Pantaneiras de Barão de Melgaço, Poconé, Cáceres, Mimoso, Porto Cercado (MT), Nabileque, Miranda e Nhecolândia (MS); fazendo um levantamento sócio ambiental, afim de mostrar as potencialidades turísticas do Pantanal para a prática do ecoturismo, propondo à partir daí, uma integração de todas as sub-regiões pantaneiras. para estabalecer rotas turísticas com potencial de vendagem. Documentação de empreendimentos ecoturísticos que sejam exemplos de êxito em território pantaneiro. Além do registro fotográfico e em vídeo da fauna e flora.

Execução

A primeira etapa da expedição inicia no dia 19 de Outubro de 2011, quando sairemos de Cuiabá em veículos 4x4,fechados e seguiremos até a cidade de Barão de Melgaço onde encontraremos com o nosso parceiro local nesta aventura.

Por aproximadamente 45 dias, estaremos percorrendo aproximadamente 2.000 km pesquisando e documentando, as comunidades tipicas, fauna, flora e atrativos de ecoturismo ao longo do trajeto.

Na primeira etapa desta viagem que será ao todo de 2.000 km através de estradas tipicamente pantaneiras colheremos informações e imagens com a comunidade, estabeleceremos vínculos com a comunidade pantaneira.

Na segunda etapa deste projeto, é primordial uma visita ao Chaco Boliviano (Pantanal Boliviano), e uma visita ao Museu de História Nacional do RJ. Ao finalizar este intenso trabalho de pesquisa e documentação, produziremos diversos produtos finais como o a produção, impressão e divulgação do primeiro guia off-road e mountain bike (partes do trajeto da segunda etapa será feita de bike).

Plumbeous Kite

The Plumbeous Kite, Ictinia plumbea, is a bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, which also includes the eagles, hawks and Old World vultures.
The Plumbeous Kite breeds in the tropical New World, from eastern Mexico through Central America to Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. It also breeds on Trinidad.
Birds in the north and south of the breeding range, including the populations in Central America, Trinidad, northern Venezuela and Colombia, and southern Argentina and Brazil, are migratory, moving into tropical South America in the northern winter.
This is a bird of lowland forest and savannah, which builds a stick nest in a tree and lays 1-2 blue-white eggs. It is typically 33-38cm long and weighs 190-280g. It is not particularly gregarious, although often seen in flocks on migration.
The Plumbeous Kite has long, pointed wings. Adults are mainly slate-grey, with a paler head and underparts. The short black tail has 2-3 white bands. The eyes are red and the legs are orange. In flight, this kite shows a rufous primary patch.
Sexes are similar, but immature birds have white-streaked grey upperparts and dark-streaked whitish underparts. They lack the rufous wing patch. The call of Plumbeous Kite is a whistled si-see-oo.
The flight is slow, with frequent glides, and the prey is almost exclusively insects taken in the air. This kite often perches conspicuously on dead branches, with its long wings projecting well beyond the tail.

Also Called: Black Panther

The Jaguar is the largest cat in the Western Hemisphere and the third largest cat in the world (after the Lion and the Tiger.) It is also one of the four roaring cats. It differs from a lion's roar and is more of a series of hoarse coughs. It is often confused with the leopard but the Jaguar is a stockier animal. It is usually larger with a broad head and shorter legs and tail. The color is generally a tawny yellow with dark spots on the head and neck and dark rings on the body. Inside these rings there is usually a dark spot. This is the primary difference between the spots on a Jaguar and the spots on a leopard. There are also black Jaguars. These are usually found in dense forests and are often called Black Panthers. The body length is between 4 and 6 feet and its tail is about 30 inches.

They feed on small prey such as the capyabara and the peccarie but will also eat larger animals such as cattle. They will also eat reptiles such as the crocodile and small rodents. It has a very powerful jaw and usually kills its prey with one bite. Its name comes from the South American Indian word "yaguara." This means "a beast that kills its prey with one bound". Unlike most big cats, Jaguars don't kill by biting the neck. They bite through the temporal bones of the skull and kill quickly.

Jaguars are found in tropical rainforests, arid scrub, and wet grasslands. They prefer dense forests or swamps with a ready supply of water. Geographically they are found in the Southwestern United States throughout Central America and into Northern South America. Because of its power, jaguars have no real predators other than man. It also has no rivals for food and territory. Except during breeding season, Jaguars are solitary creatures. They primarily stay on land although they can swim quite well. They can communicate with various vocal sounds and use scent to mark their territory. They also cannot be classed as diurnal or nocturnal. Depending on the situation and the territory they inhabit, they will do either.

After a gestation period of about 100 days, a litter of 1-4 cubs is born. They nurse for 3-4 months and stay with the mother for about 2.

Chapada dos Guimarães - Horse Rindding - MT

SAVANNA TABLELANDS :

(4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS PROGRAM)

The heartland of Brazil covers an area equal to Western Europe (2,000,000 sq km), and its original vegetation is called “CERRADO”, considered the richest savanna in the world, due to its high plant diversit and endemism. Most of Brazil’s big rivers find their sources here. It’s an area of enormous ecological importance with many areas of spectacular beauty, as the National Park of “Chapada dos Guimarães”, only 55km North East from Cuiabá airport. Its biodiversity includes: 837 birds spices, 161 mammals, 120 reptiles and over 10.000 vascular plants from witch 44% are endemic. The region that today is called Chapada of the Guimarães, possessed intense movement, since the times most remote when the region was dominated only for the native South American, that in them had left many rupestres registrations and drawings in different points of the Chapada. Later Spanish teams of recognition mapearam the region, also establishing, some roads and ways that would be reopened by the Portuguese colonists eighty years later. After the arrival of the bandeirante São Paulo, Chapada knew a new dominate of its lands that, attracted by the ameno climate and the fertility of its humid valleys allies the salubrity of the region, if installed, producing foods for the mining region that dominated the region of Cuiabá until Diamantino, expanding this commerce until the Spanish colonies. At the first moment of 1779 ,1751, the trading detainers of the colonial bureaucracy in Mato Grosso had the 1751 dominated all the strategical canals of circulation and points.

(DAY 2 – MATÃO TRAIL):

After breakfast departure to reach the “ Matao trail”, heading to the city of Chapada, crossing farms, and enjoying a wonderful view of the highest point of the region ( 840 m - the Air Force Radar’s Antennas).
Lunch at the city, returning by the “ Vale da Benção Trail”, passing by different farms with many natural attractions.
Return to the lodge, dinner and overnight at PARK ECO LODGE.

(DAY 3 – COLÉGIO BURITI TRAIL) :

After breakfast, departure heading the “Collegio Buriti”, for a visit on it’s installations, and attractions, as the Monjolin springs.
Lunch at a restaurant in the National Park, with possibility of waterfall baths. Return to the lodge, dinner and overnight at PARK ECO LODGE.

(DAY 4 – CUIABA):

After breakfast,check out and transfer to Cuiaba’s airport

*Geography of Mato Grosso:
Mato Grosso occupies an area of 906.806 inside Km2 of Brazil, bes situated it west of the Meridian of Greenwich and the south of the Line of the Equator and with hourly spindle -4 hours in relation world-wide hour GMT. In Brazil, the state is part of the region Center-West for the division of the IBGE, and for the geoeconômica division it is part of the Amazonian geoeconômica Region of Brazil, to the center-north, and also of the geoeconômica region center-south, to the center-south. The state of Mato Grosso makes borders with the states of Mato Grosso of the South, Tocantins, Goiás, Pará, Amazon, Rondônia and a country, Bolivia.

* Climate: In MatoGrosso as well as in Brazil it has diverse types of climates, had the variations of latitude and altitude, with great influence in the temperature, rains, mainly the frontals, continentalidade and air mass, acting in the state the masses Equatorial Continenal, Tropical Continental and Polar Atlantic. *Vegetation:
The vegetation of the state is part of the vegetation of the Amazonian Forest, Closed and bands of transistion as the Pantanal, Xingu and Cachimbo. The Amazonian vegetation is the biggest forest of the world covering part of 8 countries, also covering the region north of the state, also called Legal Amazônia, its main characteristics is the great trees and the ground forest poor, surviving of húmus of leves. The region with open pasture vegetation is most of the state, in accordance with the International organization Conservation 58% of the open pasture was substituted by agriculture with soy and cotton. The complex of the Pantanal is the biggest flooded area of the world and the biggest animal and vegetal diversity of the world in the south part of Mato Grosso, in 2001 was recognized for UNESCO as Natural Patrimony of the Humanity.

*Hydrography:
The state is part of three hidrográficas basins, the Amazonian basin is the predominant one in the State, great part of the region north with some rivers the right edge of the River Amazon between the main rivers is Rio Xingu, River Guaporé and Rio Teles Saucers. The Tocantins-Araguaia basin with the River Araguaia cuts to all the part the border east between Mato Grosso and Goiás with 2.115 km forming the biggest fluvial island of the world the island of the banana plantation. The river Paraguay is part of the basin platinum that is main the responsible one for the supplying of the Pantanal, other rivers of the basin platinum is the River Cuiabá, River Is Lourenço and Rio Taquari. The navigation for the rivers of the basin Amazônia is minimum therefore is crystalline areas with sedimentary and this if they form many waterfalls, the main navigable rivers are the River Paraguay and Rio Araguaia.

In the geologic scale the Pre-Cambrian period was the formation of the region of the Cachimbo and the nesting of the basin of the Araguaia-Tocantins, Xingu, Cuiabá and Alto Paraguay. In the paleozóico age with the formation of the Mountain range of They are Vicente. In the mesozóico age with the formation of the Parana river basin, incluíndo Chapada of the Guimarães) and the chapada one of the Parecis. *Demography:
Mato Grosso has a population of 2.803.274 hab. according to IBGE of 2005, with a demographic density of 2,6 hab/km2. For the characteristics found in the State the predominance is of adult people and with an index of decline for young and increase of aged. As 2000 census IBGE has a predominance of medium brown people who if assign of color. For the average of the State the emigration of the other States for Mato Grosso has a predominance of men due, however, in the great Cuiabá has predominance of women, fellow creature the Brazilian average. Mato Grosso occupies the IDH 9º enters the States of Brazil.

History of the Pantaneiro Horse

The Pantaneiro horse is, probably, deriving of crossings of equines of lusitana origin (Céltico, Barbel and Andalusian), of the Arab and the Argentine Creole, under pressure of the natural election (Domingues, 1957; Corrêa Son, 1973). The first phase of the historical formation of the Pantaneiro Horse is on to the foundation of Buenos Aires, in Argentina, 1.541. Peter Mendoza brought horses and mares, that had after been abandoned the fire of the village and its despovoamento. Readjusting to live in plains, the flock if reproduced as much that in 1580, when of the second foundation of Buenos Aires, already had register of wild herds in plains of Argentina. E these indians, who already were senhoriais and conquering, had used the horse to increase infinitely its capacity of fight and its radius of action. They had become, from now on, the “indians knights”. With its diverse ramifications - between which of the Kadiwéu, existing until today in the region of the Bodoquena, Mato Grosso of the South, the indians knights occupied a territory that went of Cuiabá the Installation. They fought the other tribes in such a way how much the white - Spanish, Portuguese - that they came in search of domain and slaves. The Pantaneiro Horse consisted in a factor of economic and social importance, becoming essential in works of cattle and the transport of the floated ones, as much in the Pantanal as in the serrana region. Currently he is being very used in the Clubs of Bow, in tests of long bow, apartação, of team penning, in untied, tests of reins, the raids by horseback, enduros, and has been remained to the height of other races, in all the competitions. The main types of pelagem of the Pantaneiros are: tordilho (the majority), bay, chestnut, sorrel, rosilho and lobuno. All for are accepted, less the albinic (melado). In the end of century XIX, the race entered in decline mainly due the illnesses, as " plague of the chairs " e the equine infectious anemia. Therefore the Brazilian Association of the Creators of Cavalo Pantaneiro was established in 1972 (ABCCP), whose headquarters are in Poconé, TM., having for purpose to congregate the creators, to organize and to keep the Genealógico Register of the race, to foment the creation and to study all the referring subjects to the Pantaneiro Horse. In 1988 the EMBRAPA/CPAP implanted a nucleus of creation in the Nhecolândia, Corumbá MS., in the Farm Nhu Mirim. In 1.989 the Association of the Creators of the Pantaneiro Horse of the Mato Grosso of Sul was established (ACCP/MS), that it had a period of great movement, but that, unhappyly it had paralyzed its activities. In 2.003 its documentation was reconstituted and came back to have important paper in the creation and election of the Pantaneiro Horse, also participating of Expo-Great, MS. the Federal University of the Thick act of Sul (UFMS) also keeps a criatório, in the Farm School, in Terenos, MS. and, it has been of excellent aid in the election of the Pantaneiro.
